Optimization plugins not compatible with WP Rocket

This article contains a list of the optimization plugins and features that are not compatible with WP Rocket because they overlap each other, and cause major conflicts.

WP Rocket is not compatible with the following optimization plugins:

• Breeze (Unless you're using Cloudways' Cloudflare Enterprise plan).

Additionally, when Minify JavaScript files and/or Minify CSS files are active, the following plugins can't be used:

• JavaScript to Footer
• MinQueue
• Better WordPress Minify
• Dependency Minification
• Fast Velocity Minify
• WP Super Minify
• Async JS and CSS
• Merge + Minify + Refresh

Also, when LazyLoad for images is active in WP Rocket, the following plugins are not compatible:

• Advanced lazy load
• Specify Image Dimensions
• Crazy Lazy
• jQuery Image Lazy Load WP
• BJ Lazy Load
• Lazy Load

Similarly, when LazyLoad for iframes and videos is enabled, the following plugins shouldn't be active at the same time:

• Lazy Load for Videos

When any of the above plugins is detected to be active on your site, WP Rocket will display the following admin notice with a button to deactivate the conflicting plugins:

Non-compatible optimizations in third party plugins

In general, it's not recommended to apply the same optimization on a site because this can cause conflicts. 

Some WP Rocket's features are officially not compatible with the third party features shown below.

Minify CSS files and Minify JavaScript files

WP Rocket's Minify CSS files and Minify JavaScript files options can't be used at the same time as the following features:

• Autoptimize's minification and aggregation. You can find more information in this article.

Remove Unused CSS

Additionally, WP Rocket's Remove Unused CSS is not compatible with the following specific features:

• Autoptimize's add-on, Rapidload.
• Perfmatters' Remove Unused CSS.
