How does auto-renewal work?
WP Rocket now offers automatic renewal for all new orders. When you place a new order, whether it's for a new license, an upgrade or a renewal, your payment info will be securely saved by our payment provider.
If you don't opt out you will be automatically billed every 12 months for your renewal.
15 days before the expiration date of your license, we will send you an email to remind you when and how much we will charge for the auto-renewal. We will also send an email to confirm that the automatic renewal charge was successful.
How to turn off auto-renewal
Important: Turning off auto-renewal for WP Rocket won’t have any impact on your RocketCDN subscription. RocketCDN will still be active and the payments for this subscription will continue. Please check how to cancel RocketCDN subscription documentation.
If you don't wish to benefit from automatic renewal for WP Rocket, you may turn it off at any time.
- Log in to your WP Rocket account
- Click on your name at the top left of the screen, then click Billing
- In the Manage Your Subscription section, click Disable Auto-renewal:I'm an existing customer, have I been opt-ed in to auto-renewal?
If you purchased WP Rocket before we offered automatic renewal, nothing has changed yet. Automatic renewal will be applied on your next purchase.
What happens if my credit card has expired?
You will receive a "failed payment" notification by email with a link to complete the order by yourself.
How can I change the credit card on file for auto-renewal?
Yes, you can change the credit card from your account page. Please refer to our article for more information about this.
You auto-billed a card that I don't want to use, can you reverse the charge?
For any purchase on our website, we’ll gladly provide a refund if it’s requested within 14 days of purchase.
Where is my credit card info stored and is it safe?
We don't have access to your payment details, which are stored by Stripe or PayPal (depending on your payment method). Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.
