Disable Page Caching

In a few case you may want to completely disable the page caching feature and just use WP Rocket for the other features like minification, LazyLoad, CDN etc.

If you want to do this, you can add the following in your functions.php file of your theme, or in a MU plugin:

add_filter( 'do_rocket_generate_caching_files', '__return_false' );

How to make an MU plugin

Read about how to make and activate a custom (MU) plugin in this article:
How to Make a Custom (MU) Plugin

The code for your plugin would look like this:

<?php
/**
* Plugin Name: WP Rocket | Disable Page Caching
* Description: Disable WP Rocket’s page cache.
* Author:      your name here
* License: GNU General Public License v3 or later
* License URI: http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-3.0.html
*/

defined( 'ABSPATH' ) or die( 'Cheatin’ uh?' );

add_filter( 'do_rocket_generate_caching_files', '__return_false' );

After you have installed and activated your plugin, don’t forget to clear WP Rocket’s cache once.
